Dr. B.K. Rao (Padma Bhushan) is an esteemed Indian anesthesiologist and critical care specialist. He is the former Chairman of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and currently heads its Department of Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesiology. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India and is the immediate past Chairman of the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals (NABH).
